I think that one of Days family members is going to be infected
Good foreshadowing, you can kind of tell because of the way that he is really focusing on watching his family's house. June even remarks how they've been there the past few days rather than just once a week.
i love this book so far cant wait to read more i wonder whats goining to happen next :3
This isn't a prediction. Although, I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
I think that legend will end by all the people coming togather and becoming the usa again and i also think that day and june will meet and fall in love and reunight the country
A love story? So many of them wind up that way, don't they?
I think that when the officials get to Day's house his family will have the contagion. Although I have not read The Bar Code Prophecy I know what it is about and I think Legend will be a lot like it.
I haven't read the Bar Code Prophecy yet. Every time I'm on Amazon it recommends it to me. Would you recommend it?
I haven't read it yet but I think it sounds like something you would read.
The book legend has already got interesting. They, the soldiers, are searching houses for the plague, a huge disease. The soldiers are five houses down from days house, and the last two houses have been marked with a X this means they are infected. We are about to get to days families house!
So far Legend sounds like a grand book. I predict that so far his family has plague and that his brother tells his mother that Day is not dead. I think that Tess might get plague also. I hope that Day dont get plague.
I like how you make sure you included the plague in your response, great job being detailed by using the character's names.
This book sounds like it will be similar to many of other books of the genre. I am really intrigued through just the first 8 pages!!! I think that Day's family will be infected when the soldiers go to his old house. If I was Day I would go and get my family if they are infected. I think the conflict will be that his family gets infected by the plague!
I thought the same thing, Savannah. I wasn't sure I wanted to get into another dystopic book, expecially since I've read so many of them. Before I started I thought it was going to be like one of the others I've read already. However, a few pages in and I could NOT put it down!
WOW!!!!! I can not believe that Day and June are together and they don't even know who the other is. Also I can not get it into my mind that Thomas killed Day's mother. That is heartbreaking.
I know!!! It drives me crazy that they spend an entire half of the book walking around together, but never bother to get each other's names. Who does that? I guess it's just a different culture than our own, people come and go in a society like Day's and June's.
I still can not believe that Thomas so viciously killed Day's mom and yes it is aggravating that they walked around together with no knowledge of who the other was.
Here is a really cool wiki I found about the Legend Series. Be careful, it talks about all three books in their entirety, so don't spoil it for yourself!
Okay this was a while back in the book, but is still a big part of the book, when I read that Metias had died I had to reread that part and I screamed then my first thought was where is June going to live! That was my first thought after I realized what had just happened.
I just finished part one of legend and i cant wait to read part 2. I think this book is verey simler to Hunger Games, because there are the poor sectore where Day is from, the rich sectore where June is from. I deffently think you should read this book. Now i am making a prediction that he will come down to protect his family.
the first part was really interesting and i think that the second part will end up being better
and hi mrs.sandusky
alright so i just finished book one and it was awesome! I have a theory to, i think that Thomas killed medias and framed Day to get to June. so now June went after Day and led them to his house.
